I love meeting new campers when they come to Happy Trails Campground, the campground I own in Normal, Kentucky in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest.
There’s nothing like a community and a camping community is the best.
It’s so much easier to be involved with like minded people who love camping and outdoors as much as us.
If you are a camper, RV’er or doing it once, you should check out these three clubs.
1. ESCAPEES RV CLUB
This club allows you to meet up with other campers and RV’ers along your travels. They also have a club for people who live fulltime in their RV’s and work full time too. For me, that’s great because I could work full time in my travel trailer. I like to get helpful tips from them to help that lifestyle.
2. FMCA
15,000 members strong and located locally to me in Cincinnati, FMCA . They have perks like RV roadside assistance, campground discounts, discounts on RV’ing and camping magazines, along with chapters all over the United States.
3. RVillage
This club is more about the community than the other two. It’s great for connecting with others along the way. Plus it’s free and has an app that’s easy to use.
Do you have any fun camping tips I can share with my guests?
I love your books, and I’m in book 30, but I wish at least the narrator (Mae) would use better grammar. Lots of folks get their grammar from reading, and I fear it will be awful if they read your books. I understand why you have to make it sound Hillbilly, but I would really appreciate it if you toned down the really awful grammar. Thank you.
