Inspiration!

Good morning, friends!

Today I wanted to take you for a little trip into my world and get to know me.
Every day I write. In order to do this, I have to be in tip top mind shape. I can honestly say that I do not believe in writer’s block. I do believe we get stuck but there are things we can do to help the creative process.

The one thing I do every day to help foster my creativity is walking. I live in a small town that has many trails and are so fun to hike.
I find so much inspiration in nature and that’s probably why I LOVE living in the woods.

The photos below are Landmark Tree Trail local to where I live and there are over 20 trees marked with their names engraved on the marker. I love walking the trail as it weaves in the woods and along the river. There’s even some cute wooden bridges and a few benches tucked into the woods so you can sit, just watch the animals.

It really inspires me and gets my day started on a high note of creativity!
Tell me in the comments what inspires you to get your day off on the right foot!

  1. I love taking morning walks! I live next door to a shopping center, but I don’t have to look or walk far to be surrounded by nature. I once came across a mama dear nursing her newborn. It was unforgettable. For the most part, I see the same scenery everyday, but I often feel like I’m seeing it for the first time.

  2. Your trail sounds great, but since I start work at 4 am probably not doable, but I start my day out with a large mixed greens and blueberry smoothie to kickstart my brain.
