Heavens To Bribery: Me reading Chapter One!

Hold on to your britches!! I’m reading Chapter One of Heavens to Bribery and I think you’re going to get a kick out of it!! I’m really happy to be back in Cottonwood!!!

CEO RETREAT RECAP!

Shoooooweeee!

We had a whirlwind of a CEO work-amping trip last week. We packed up everything for a week and headed southwest to a campground in Charlestown, Indiana. They have a really nice state park with over seven hiking trails and some really interesting things to see.

The SHAMPER 2.0 is all set up. Everyone who walked past commented on how much love my little boho light. It’s so cute.

On our first full day we decided to hike trail 5 which lead us to what use to be known as Rose Island Amusement Park. It’s been abandoned since the famous 1937 flood. It’s so interesting to see what is left and walk through and read the signs the Indiana State Parks have put up so people can hike through the remains. It’s truly interesting and you can read an article about it here. There’s also a video.

The second day we hiked trail 7 that took about a three mile hike around the river and I wore some of the friendship bracelets I made so I could get some good photos of them!

When we got back from the hike, Rowena was peeking out the window being nosey at the camping neighbors!

The next day I had to work and do some interviews, plus a Facebook life, you can catch the replay here. We hung around the campground mostly that day.

The next day we went hiking a different trail that was in the state park that was an 19,200 acre army ammunition plant that has been abandon. It was very interesting! You can read about it here.

We spent the next day working on things for 2024.

It was a really great time!!

Let me know in the comments if you looked up Rose Island or the 19000 acre ammunition plant.
