I’m so excited to be able to let you know A CAMPER AND CRIMINALS COZY MYSTERY SERIES is in development for a television show with producers!
A couple of years ago I had four major producers all vying for the shopping rights for the series, then I got an email from a woman producer who I didn’t know of her work. I courted these producers for a while and when I talked to the woman, she knew the series inside and out!
She was on fire for Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies.
Over the past year we weathered the writing strikes all those Hollywood twists. But along the way her company has been on fire for Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies.
Getting back to the deal-we thought it was going to be a movie and done. BUT now it’s in development for a tv show.
Y’ALL! A weekly television show.
It will not be a binge watch. It will be a weekly show.
The title of the series will be WELCOME TO NORMAL.
And the first season is based on WHO KILLED PAUL WEST.
This is all I can tell you now.
The executive producers and show runners came to my house to stay for a few days. We went to my hometown of NIcholasville, Kentucky and they got to meet a few women I’d consider LAUNDRY CLUB LADIES. When the executives told these women in my life, they all cried right in front of them.
We had dessert at mama’s. And we went to our small town diner.
They had a blast!
Then we went to Bardstown, Kentucky for them to get a feel of what is in my head for downtown Normal.
AND then we went camping in the Daniel Boone National Forest. They were so excited to ride in our RV and they stayed in a cabin at the campground. We hiked, got coffee at the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop, ate campfire chili and just got to know each other.
It has been such an amazing experience that when we zoom next, I can’t wait to tell you all about it.
Until then…this is all I can say but they know I am so close with my readers, they said I could tell you that the series is in development!!!
